Meet our Scholars
Each year, CMAA North Texas works with educators across Texas to identify graduate and undergraduate students who qualify for our scholarships.
A committee is then selected and these applications are reviewed. This year, CMAA North Texas Scholarship Committee members reviewed 21 applications and contributed $15,000 to four winning students.
Rhett Buttler, a senior from Texas Tech University and Ha Tran, a junior from the University of North Texas received $5000 each to assist with their undergraduate studies.
Zahra "Ellie" Kohankar Kouchesfehan and Vinayak "Vinny" Kaushal, graduate students at The University of Texas at Arlington were the recipients of $2500 scholarships to help them finish their graduate degrees.
The tables you purchased for the gala and the teams you buy at the golf tournament help to underwrite these winners -- thanks for your support!
